I'm sure we all watch in amazement as we see just how much our kids have grown.  Watching them the first few weeks of school as they adjust to a new routine and environment, it just doesn't seem to all come together until the first month has passed.  Now, as the school year comes to an end, I always look back at the pictures we have taken and work each child had completed.  I'm sometimes caught just staring, uttering a "Wow!", or "Look at this!" as I thumb through the writing samples, math work, and reading results!  On Thursday, our last day for students, I will hug each child from the quiet, shy little girl to the hourly screamer, knowing that they ALL have made progress, that they have all forged ahead in their very own ways.
