Trick-or-Treat!  Those words can cause fear or anxiety for our children with autism.  To help your students better understand how Halloween is celebrated, we have created this 15 page Halloween Social Story.  With real life pictures and familiar scenes, your children can know what to expect when they celebrate Halloween.  This Halloween Social Story includes children dressed in costumes, both with store bought or "find something at home" options. Please adjust the pages to suit your needs.   Your students will learn about safety rules while they are Trick-or-Treating, during both daytime and nightime.    AS AN ADDED EXTRA we have included a HALLOWEEN INTERACTIVE ACTIVITY BOOK!  This 9 page interactive book contains real life pictures and can be used as a follow-up comprehension activity after reading the Halloween Social Story.  As a special "treat" you will also find 3 sets of "thank you" cards which say, "Happy Halloween - Thank you for my treat!"  These cards are perfect as polite gestures or for those with limited communication skills.  EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND USE IN YOUR CLASSROOM TODAY!
