File Folder Activities for Autism {Emotions and Feelings Social Skills}

This two-set file folder activity includes real life pictures of adolescents and teens and some of the emotions they experience.  In this series, as children mature emotionsare perceived and displayed much differently than that of a small child.  For our adolesecent and teen students with autism, interpreting facial and body expressions can be difficult.  With real pictures depicting how older children handle these emotions, your students will learn to understand acceptable and expected social emotions.  Some of the emotions and feelings covered are:

sad

happy

excited

surprised

silly

bored

amazed

nervous

*It is suggested that this activity be printed on white card stock paper and laminated for durability.  EASY assembly directions are included.
