More details

Reading sight word sentences paired with real life pictures, encourages children by reaching IEP Goals with greater success.

TARGET SKILL: To read and match a short three to five word sentence with the correct picture.

WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH THIS SET?

There are 40 task cards, along with 40 Sentence Response Cards and Storage Mounting Boards in this SIGHT WORD Sentences with Pictures “Task Box Filler” set! The student may be shown how to complete the task independently, work at an assisted center location, or even as direct instruction to provide a comprehensive understanding of this type of reading skill.

IS THIS TASK CARD SET EASY TO SET UP?

Yes, it sure is! Just print on white card stock paper for durability and laminate! For this task card set, you will need some velcro coins(dots/circles) or strips to place on each task card and the back of each sentence card.

HOW CAN MY STUDENTS THAT HAVE FINE MOTOR CHALLENGES USE THIS?

This Reading Skills “Task Box Filler” set helps students gain fine motor skills by placing the sentence on each task card. For additional fine motor practice, the student can “pull” each sentence off of a mounting board, which is included.

HOW WILL THIS HELP MY STUDENTS GAIN READING SKILLS?

The real life pictures used in this task card set clearly show each object. By having them choose out of a field of up to seven sentences, they choose the one that relates to the picture.

HOW DO I STORE THIS TASK CARD SET?

Oh, SO easy! I use a clear shoe box bin for storage and for my kids to use at Independent Task Centers, to work one-on-one with an assistant, or even for direct instruction. The bins store easily in your classroom cubbies, shelves, or even stack on top of a table or shelf. Each set contains an interchangeable bin label.

DOES THE TASK CARD SET COME WITH A SUGGESTED IEP GOAL?
