New Year Goal Writing for Visual Learners:

This New Year Goal Writing activity is perfect for your Kindergarten/Special Needs students, providing them with visuals to help in writing their goals for the New Year. First comes the "I can" goal, followed by, "I will try". It can be tasting a new food, saying "hi" or having a conversation with another student, or anything else that your student/child wants to try to accomplish in the upcoming year. This is also the perfect opportunity to refer to an IEP goal that you feel your student is on his/her way to mastering!

Enjoy this FREE item. Please leave feedback and let us know what types of goals your students wrote!

SUGGESTED IEP GOAL ALIGNMENT:

Given a visual representing "what?" and a written starter prompt, STUDENT will write his/her first name and complete the sentence with a 2 - 4 word written response.

* THIS GOAL CAN ALSO BE ACHIEVED BY ADDING TRACING/SAYING/POINTING TO PICTURES/WORDS to accommodate your students' learning needs.
