FINE MOTOR Skills Nouns | Independent Work Packet BOOKLETS “Task Box Filler Activities”

This is an independent work packet for fine motor skills practice. Students will color, cut, glue, trace and write nouns. This independent fine motor skills practice work task includes a variety of picture nouns with cutting lines around each object. This independent work task motivates students to cut, turn the paper, stay on the cutting line, and complete the task without prompting. (Please add prompts for students with complex learning needs.) EACH BOOKLET CONTAINS A STUDENT COVER AND DATA COLLECTION COVER for teacher/classroom assistant/or parent and guardian use).

WILL THIS TAKE A LOT OF PREP TIME?

Oh, no! Just print the pages you need, along with a student booklet cover and Data Collection cover. It is suggested that ten pages are stapled into a booklet, once the student has completed those pages.

HOW WILL THIS HELP MY STUDENTS WITH FINE MOTOR SKILLS?

Children will follow curves, lines, and formed shapes to cut along lines of objects (nouns). Provide crayons, a pencil, scissor, and glue stick for the student to complete the task. This is a high interest activity for our students, as they design their own booklet covers, add pages upon completion, and can read the words to themselves during a literacy center, free reading, to the class, in a small group, or even to their families!
