This resource (20 pages) is meant to help children learn and recognize letters and distinguish the initial sound in a word. This is an activity for learning the alphabet. After recognizing the letter on the page, the student will pronounce the name of each picture. Then the pictures that start with that sound must be attached below the letter of the alphabet.
The pages must be printed on photo paper and laminated. Have the letter boards cut out as well as the picture cards. Use some velcro in the middle of each blank square and on the back side of each letter. You can make a book that can be reused over and over by your students.
This product may be also used for students with autism and special needs.
Given a sorting board containing both one upper and lowercase letter of the alphabet and a choice of up to ______(number of) pictures to choose from, STUDENT will select three pictures that begin with the letter sound indicated on the sorting board, with 80% accuracy,in 4 out of 5 opportunities by MONTH, YEAR.
