WHAT IS AN INDEPENDENT LEARNING PACKET?

An INDEPENDENT LEARNING PACKET includes 30 engaging worksheets or printables for students to complete with a greater level of independence both in the classroom, or at home for distance learning, or homework to practice learned skills.

CAN YOU DESCRIBE WHAT IS IN THE READING Identifying Colors:Color Words Within Text PACKET FOR IEP GOAL PROGRESSION?

· 30 Engaging Worksheets with EASY TO RECORD DATA (for teacher or parent/guardian to complete!)

These worksheets include:

Pages 1-5: Read the short sentence containing a noun, high frequency words (sight words), and a color word. Color the object

Pages 6-10: Read the short passage (paragraph) and highlight the color words. Draw a picture to show the story.

Pages 11-15: Read the text, color the object, and write the color word.

Pages 16-20: Color the picture. Read the story and use the color/word bank to write the colors you used in the picture!

Pages 21-25: Read the passage (paragraph) and put a line through each color word using the correct color crayon. Then, draw a picture about the story using the appropriate colors for each scene, object, or person mentioned in the story.

Pages 26-30: Read the text only passage. Circle all of the color words in the text.


· Student will read, draw pictures, color objects, and write color words to reinforce learning color words. This worksheet set is a PRINT and GO activity with NO ASSEMBLY NEEDED. It helps students remain engaged and focused on an academic task for a longer period of time.

(1.) Given a short sentence containing one noun and one color word, along with up to 10 pictures, STUDENT will color the object mentioned in the sentence using the appropriate color, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.


(2.) Given a short reading passage (one paragraph) which includes color words, STUDENT will illustrate the passage content using appropriate colors, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.


(3.) Given a short reading passage which contains color words, STUDENT will highlight or mark each color word, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
