This social skills task card set focuses on social interactions between elementary age peers and a conflict resolution. Each social skills scenario depicts a scenario between two peers in which at least one the children must determine how to resolve the conflict.


WILL THIS TAKE A LOT OF PREP TIME?

Oh, no! Just print the pages (2 cards to a page), laminate, trim. NO VELCRO REQUIRED! Just use a thin dry erase marker to mark each response.


HOW WILL THIS HELP MY STUDENTS WITH SOCIAL SKILLS?

Using pictures to show how a child is feeling in reaction to a peer conflict and age appropriate scenarios that students can relate to, make the this “Task Box Filler” task card set, engaging and encourage focusing on the activity. The scenarios included provide three possible response choices. Given a social scenario in which at least two peers encounter a shared conflict, STUDENT will choose the best possible way to resolve the conflict, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.


Given a picture showing an action or reaction in response to a social conflict between peers, STUDENT will say how it would be best to resolve the conflict, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
