Autism Reading, Language and Writing for Sentence Structure SPECIAL EDUCATION READING STRATEGIES: Where every sentence has the perfect ending!

Autism Reading, Language and Writing for Sentence Structure:
SENTENCE TAILS! This fun, interactive reading strategy for students with Autism, ELL, Special Education, or Kindergarten/First Grade, will fit perfectly at your Language Arts/Writing/Reading Center, or work one-on-one with students who need some extra help to get started.

Cuddle up on the couch with your favorite TV show and a pair of scissors! Included with this set are 15 sentence strips, with 12 “tails” per sentence. It’s simple to assemble and will last for many years when laminated. This gives you a whopping total of 180 sentence combinations! Using Dolch sight words and pictures to help ELL and visual learners read and understand each “tail” ending, ALL of your students will be able to participate. Writing paper in gray tone and black line are included with data to record copying from model, reading the sentence, use correct spacing, use correct punctuation, and the prompt levels needed to complete the writing activity. For those with fine motor skill challenges and for those children whose printing is at the early developmental stages, I have included and “extender” writing sheet. Just tape it together and copy on 11 X 14 paper if you prefer. Pictures and directions included.

Have fun and enjoy!

Debbie
