We have heard from many people that it is hard to find such a good and large collection of colorfully custom illustrated sequential picture cards as we have produced here! This is because sequential pictures have to be individually uniquely illustrated! As you can imagine the generic clip art collections that many other people rely upon may not be able to accurately display sequential concepts.
This can be perfect for your Sequencing Sorting Skill Center and many other uses! This mega-Pack is full of sequential use teaching themes! An optional page for writing out the sentences is also included! The student may write a description of the pictures in the sequence cards placed on the page if appropriate.
These are not generic clip arts! Generic Clip art may be abstract and confusing in this context. These visual materials are personally CUSTOM illustrated for sequential themes and designed by an experienced Speech Language Pathologist that has been making visual learning materials for many years for a large number of students with a varied educational needs.
THIS MEGA PACK HAS 61 PAGES IN IT!
SUGGESTIONS FOR USE INCLUDED! Sequential Pictures are useful in so many ways! For example, the instructor could first presents the cards one sequence set at a time in a mixed order to the student. The student then is prompted to place them onto the holding/display page in the proper order. Discussion of what is happening in the sequence, and why only one specific order is correct could follow. Numbers 1-4 (OR Letters ABCD) are labeled on each holding area on the holding/display page to assist with understanding the order direction.
(You may choose to use less than all four pictures for those students working at a different level.)
Asking the students to say sentences of the sequences they create may be useful with goals involving various sentence level skills! For example, if the client is working on a past tense verb goal, you may ask the client to describe each of the four pictures of a sequence in a sentence as if it happened yesterday (or as if it is happening right now, or as it will happen tomorrow).
★ HELPER PAGES FOR VERB TENSE ARE ALSO INCLUDED IN THIS MEGA PACK SET!
ALSO THESE CAN BE FUN PROMPTS TO ELICIT SPONTANEOUS SPEECH SAMPLES FOR ANY APPROPRIATE GOAL! OR Use the optional WRITING PAGE to practice writing the sentences!
