Friends in Need Meals to Go Program is a task to introduce a volunteer opportunity within the community.
This task involves filling meal orders using visual/written task cards for a guide. To enhance task and add a great life skill, students will read driving direction cards to see where the person receiving meal lives and matches the person cards on to the map visual.
This task works well for visual discrimination, following directions, word to object recognition, and as a community service unit reinforcement task.
