Gourmet Popcorn Fundraiser Task is a great way to introduce and show students how to be involved in a fundraiser.
Included is both verbal and non verbal choices to accommodate student needs.
There are two pages of popcorn varieties to choose from and the bags of popcorn to match the images.
Task can be done three ways:
1: Use the premade fundraiser order form and have student match and pack orders by matching items to name labels.
2: Role play using the blank order forms and have students go around asking other students/teachers if they would like to place an order for a fundraiser, fill out order writing in name and checking the popcorn they choose, add order, and have them pay. Then fill orders and deliver.
3: For non verbal/reader students, they will use the visual order cards and match the name. person, and what each one ordered to each card.
Great tasks to help students with socialization, matching orders, adding orders, taking payment, and filling orders.
Given a customer's name and list of items to fulfill an order, STUDENT will refer to the list in order to choose the correct objects (picture of object)and sort by customer name/picture, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
Given a life skills sorting task, STUDENT will sort picture objects by customer name or picture, by referring to the order checklist, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
