Number Read and Solve mats for students with autism and special education needs.
This activity has been created for students with good arithmetic skills and an enjoyment of numbers, who require practice at carefully reading math problems.
There are 15 mats, each with four clues. The problems include addition & subtraction, doubling or halving, more or less, multiplication, and some parenthesis/brackets.
The mats and answer cards are color coded for easy classroom organisation.
Given two clues in a written statement describing a number, sum, difference, or factor, STUDENT will read and choose the correct number card in order to solve the clue, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
