2017 Solar Eclipse is a reading comprehension set to share with the students about the upcoming solar event this August 21st, 2017.
Included is an informational story about the eclipse along with a US visibility diagram, time table, and how to make a simple viewer. To follow up is a 12 question fill in the blanks worksheet and an area for student to describe what a solar eclipse is. Also included is a worksheet that asks, who? what? when? where? why? and how? questions.
Great for a science group activity to share the event through story and to make viewers to experience the event, if your classroom is in view of the solar path.
