Reading Comprehension LARGE Task Cards for Special Education/Autism

This jam-packed 40 card set of Reading Comprehension Task Cards for Special Education/Autism includes differentiated reading levels, but is intended for early readers, or those in the process of learning sight words and C-V-C word development. Each task card contains Pre-Primer and Primer Dolch sight words and common nouns, along with three picture choices (1 distractor) and two correct answers. As your students read the simple text, you'll be amazed at how effectively they use the pictures to match the meaning of the sentence. You will notice how each child improves with reading comprehension skills, as our Special Needs students do so very well when pictures or visuals are incorporated into an activity. Your students will get a kick out of adding the picture to the "story page" as their reading comes to life! Focused on simple, repetitive sight word text with a limited number of words on each "page", students will complete this independently, work with your classroom assistant , or as one-on-one instruction. Data sheet included to aid in IEP documentation.
