Rounding up to the nearest dollar task cards using counting up to 10 skills. This Task Box Filler set helps students practice rounding up to the nearest dollar, from $1.00 - $10.00, INDEPENDENTLY!

There’s no need to be able to count money! Students easily recognize how to “round up” just by counting to 10. Using real life pictures of high-interest objects that students can quickly recognize, they will remain focused and on task! This work task is designed to fit into a standard shoe box bin, making it simple to switch out tasks from our growing sets.

I DO USE velcro on each task card, but students can also mark with a dry erase marker (“X”), or clip with a clothespin or large paper clip!

What’s Included:
• 40 Round Up To Nearest Dollar Task Cards (up to $10.00)
• 40 Matching Money Response Cards
• Shoebox Bin Label to easily switch tasks
• Suggested IEP Goal
• Print this entire activity on white card stock paper and laminate.

SUGGESTED IEP GOAL for Special Education Students:

Given a picture of a familiar or high-interest object with a price of up to $9.99, STUDENT will round up to the nearest U.S. dollar by matching the response card, verbally stating the response, clipping the response card, or indicate the correct response by using a voice-output device, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
