SENTENCE COMPREHENSION Task Cards DAYS OF WEEK and MONTHS “Task Box Filler” set for children with autism and special learning needs.

This “Task Box Filler” task card set helps children read a combination of sight words and nouns, by choosing the day of the week that comes before or after, as read in a scenario of an event that has happened or will happen the next day. There are also task cards which provide comprehension opportunities related to months of the year. PLEASE NOTE: Seasonal sentences and related questions include the Australian seasons, too!

PLEASE NOTE:
Spelling contained in this activity is suitable for the U.S., Australia, Canada, and the U.K. If any changes are required due to spelling in any “Task Box Filler” set, please contact me at DSinger@AutismEducators.com.

Simple set up, just print, laminate task cards and watch your students have fun practicing this sometimes challenging skill to learn!

Given text to read and a choice of up to six possible responses, STUDENT will demonstrate knowledge of days of the week and months of the year, by completing tasks which require sequencing and labeling the days of the week and months of the year, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR. (**PLEASE NOTE: This goal allows for the teacher/assistant to read the text aloud to student.)
