Writing Sentences- 30 No Prep Worksheets
Some students with Autism and Special Needs need some prompts to be able to write sentences. In this set the prompts are gradually faded (reduced) as your students gain confidence in writing simple sentences independently.
Sheets 1-5 have a picture (noun) & sentence starter prompt for every sentence
Sheets 6-10 have a picture prompt (noun) for each sentence and a sentence starter at the top of each page
Sheets 11-15 have a picture prompt (noun) only for each sentence
Sheets 16-30 only have a word prompt (noun) for each sentence
All the graphics used in our resources have been produced by my daughter. They are designed to appeal to a wide age range, as we know how difficult it can be to find suitable resources for teens.
As some people with autism can be overloaded by too much visual input, my resources have been designed with clear layout and plain backgrounds.
Given a set of leveled worksheets beginning with a picture and a sentence starter and ending with a word as the topic, STUDENT will independently write one complete sentence using proper capitalization, spelling, and punctuation, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
This item is recommended for the following grade levels:
