Teaching in a special education classroom is difficult -- we know. Searching for just the right resource for a struggling student or writing IEP goals that are achievable can be a daunting task. At Autism Educators, teachers with decades of experience and knowledge are putting their minds together to create just the right learning materials for your students to succeed. We try to tailor each resource using the most effective learning strategies for students.
Our resources are used daily in classrooms in every corner of the world, from the United States to England to Australia to Nigeria -- over 30 countries total. Our teachers find that their students love the activities and are mastering IEP goals quicker than ever before. See what they're saying for yourself!
Join thousands of teachers and start enhancing your own classroom today by browsing our work tasks, searching for a subject, or checking out the abundance of free IEP goals in our Free IEP Goal Bank!
We know school budgets are limited and you often find yourself buying learning materials with money out of your own pocket.
Our Teacher's Wish List program is a one-of-a-kind program allowing you to do a good deed for another teacher, while getting learning materials for your own classroom in return. We call it our "Pay It Forward. We Give Back!" program.
How It Works
1. Create your own Teacher's Wish List.
2. Browse AutismEducators.com and add resources to your wish list that would be valuable additions to your classroom.
3. Search through wish lists created by other teachers and donate some items to another teacher's classroom.
4. We will return your entire donation back into your account as store credit, for you to use on your own classroom!
It's that simple! You help another teacher in need, and we return your generosity to you! And the best part is, while you're donating to another teacher's classroom (and using your newly earned store credit to improve your own classroom too), other teachers are browsing wish lists and making donations themselves. You may receive products donated to your classroom at any time!
The learning materials and resources you'll find on AutismEducators.com are the collection of knowledge and experience of teachers, parents, and therapists from around the world -- our "Education Team Members". With decades of combined experience, they've seen what works, what doesn't work, and understand the intricacies of teaching students in a special education classroom or at home.
You can join our wonderful group of Education Team Members by simply creating an account on AutismEducators.com and choosing to become an Education Team Member. Or if you already have an account, simply login and click My Account at the top, and you'll see a button to join the team.
Whether you choose to offer resources for free or sell your hard work for a low price, we want to gather the knowledge and experience of teachers, parents, and therapists from all around the world, helping to unite the special education community and provide an incredibly learning environment for our children and students.
