This 12 page EASY-TO-ASSEMBLE Clover Counting Activity Book is the perfect addition for your St. Patrick's Day Math Center! Designed to meet Kindergarten Common Core Standards, as well as visual learners or students with Autism, this special activity has something for everyone. Encouraging students to write their responses, it is suggested that you use Expo Vis-a-Vis markers which wipe off easily with an antibacterial, baby wipe or wet cloth. For those chilren that may have difficulty forming numbers or need assistance with fine motor skills, the number cards can either be used as a guide or you may place a small strip of hard-side velcro to the back of each number card and soft-side velcro to the laminated task card (inside center of the answer square). Place at your Math Center for some St. Patrick's Day learning fun! This activity meets the requirements for the following Kindergarten Common Core Standards: K:02.CC.:02 Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1). K:03.CC.:03 Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20. K:04.CC.:04 Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality. K:05.CC.:05 Count to answer "how many?" questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration. K:06.CC:06 Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group. K:08.OA:01 Represent addition and subtraction with objects, fingers, mental images, drawings, sounds, acting out situations, verbal explanations, expressions, or equations.
