This Task Card “Task Box Filler” focuses on two important reading skills; associating pictures with words and placing words in alphabetical order. Using real-life pictures of familiar or commonly known objects, your students can complete this “Task Box Filler” set in in two ways. Early readers can find just one word on the list response card and match it to the set of pictures containing that word. For children who have begun reading, they can read the complete word list, and then find the Task Card which contains all of the pictures represented in the word list!
This activity is the perfect independent work task center, or can be used for individual instruction to gather data for IEP goals.
Pictures and IEP Goal are included with this activity for simple set up and to align with your student’s IEP Goals.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:

• Print this entire activity on white card stock paper and laminate.
SUGGESTED IEP GOALS:
Given up to five pictures and an alphabetical order word list containing up to five words, STUDENT will read the words in order to match the correct set of pictures, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
