Autism PACKING UP PROMPTS ROUTINE with Social Story/Data Sheet/IEP Goal
BRAND NEW PRODUCT!
One of the most important things we can do for our students’ success is to encourage independent behavior. From an early age, our kids can learn to be responsible for their belongings and packing up routine. As part of a necessary life skill, giving them a head start with this task will keep them ahead.
Keeping it fun, each student receives their own personalized “hand” (the hand is editable for first name/last initial). With room for up to five items to pack, the teacher chooses which color-coded circle picture/word prompts will be placed on the bottom row. As the student looks at/reads the prompt, he will place it on the hand and complete the task. You may use less than five prompts, too, if that’s all that is needed (the Social Story covers this scenario, too!). PLUS, there is a SOCIAL STORY included that will keep your students eager to participate! ALSO, there are 28 most common (one of each color included to fit your needs) color-coded circle picture prompts WITH one blank sheet, too. While these circles are not editable (remember, the hand IS editable), I will be happy to send you any word/symbol cards that you may need! JUST ASK! ALSO included are data sheets (one color-coded, the other blank for you to fill in) with room for up to 5 opportunities to align with the goal!
There are email directions included with this download if you would like additional color-coded circle symbol/word prompts).
SUGGESTED IEP GOAL ALIGNMENT:
Given a structured visual system using color codes and picture/word symbols, STUDENT will independently place each item in his/her backpack to complete the packing-up procedure, with 80% compliance, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
Thank you for your continued support!
