Counting to 30 worksheet Review Packet for IEP Goals Special Education and Autism as a math intervention resource for number recognition, number fluency, and gaining independent work skills.
This is a worksheet packet to review Counting & Cardinality mathematics standards aligned with counting to 30 skills. The tasks and suggested IEP goals are related to ways to represent numbers up to 30 using, ten frame, number, number word, dice, tally marks, count objects in an array, and place value counting cubes. Help students retain previously taught skills as a summer review, ESY supplement, homework, or extra practice.
Each review packet contains “uncluttered” (less cutesy, distraction free) printables that are aligned with academic or social-emotional state standards. The skill sets are, in most instances, adapted to fit the learning needs of special education students. The Review Packets for IEP Goals are designed to encourage independent work practice for those who can, and additional support for those students who may need it. In time, we will include every standard from Pre-Kindergarten through third grade. Special requests for specific standards or grade levels. Although this IEP goal review packet is aligned with early elementary mathematics standards for Kindergarten -2nd, it may support any learner who is currently being taught to count ways to represent numbers up to 30. As we know, our children all learn at their own pace and this resource is adaptable for all students working towards reading and writing nouns and verbs in sentences.
This packet provides extra practice to supplement classroom lessons, summer review to prevent academic regression, independent work to support inclusion, reading resource, or early intervention. Each page can be printed, or laminate to reuse with a dry erase marker. Each page contains an area to track the child’s progress to monitor for skill mastery. Each worksheet is adapted with visual support for identifying numbers, and the response choices follow a repetitive pattern. This encourages students to focus and have confidence in working with a greater level of independence.

· Given a variety of pre-taught counting strategies (ten frame, count in an array, addition, number word, cubes, dice, number) to identify a given number, STUDENT will count/read/mark each set that represents the number, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
· Given verbal and visual prompts as needed in a one-on-one lesson presentation with adult assistance, STUDENT will count in order to identify each set of a given number up to ___(number) 30, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
