Social Skills for Autism: A Super Bowl of Chips and Dip Game!

Here’s a game perfect for football week! With 24 social scenarios related to the big football game, students respond by telling us how they can react and what they could say to make the response socially appropriate. The younger students put out their football placemats and earn “chip” or “take a dip” cards. For the older students, they can score a touchdown, add an extra point for well thought out responses, and some may even receive a “Missed!” card, when that ball (response) just doesn’t go in right direction.

I hope that your students have lots of fun with these easy-to-play game. Print as many chips, dip bowls, and placemats as you need for your class. Enjoy!

Debbie
