LONG or SHORT Task Cards (Which is long? Which is NOT long?) This is a TASK BOX FILLER created for Special Education students and as an Autism Resource. Real life pictures clearly show your students if an object is “long” or “not long”. Our special learners understand this concept of “long” or “short” when presented visually using clear language terms.

TASK BOX FILLER created for Special Education students and as an Autism Resource.

WHAT IS THE TARGET SKILL?

Using pictures which clearly show a difference in horizontal length, the student will choose the object which is “longer” or “not long”.

WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH THIS SET?

There are 40 task cards in this Long or Short “Task Box Filler” set!

IS THIS TASK CARD SET EASY TO SET UP?

Yes, it sure is! Just print on white card stock paper for durability and laminate. NO velcro needed! Just use a thin dry erase marker to mark the correct response.

HOW CAN MY STUDENTS THAT HAVE FINE MOTOR CHALLENGES USE THIS?

This LONG OR SHORT “Task Box Filler” set helps students gain fine motor skills by picking up each card and marking the correct object with a thin dry erase marker, pointing to the answer, indicating on a voice output device, OR saying the response.

HOW DO I STORE THIS TASK CARD SET?

Oh, SO easy! I use a clear shoe box bin for storage and for my kids to use at Independent Task Centers. The bins store easily in your classroom cubbies, shelves, or even stack on top of a table or shelf. Each set contains an interchangeable bin label.

(2.)
