This donut theme TEN FRAME counting up to 20 task card math activity, is the perfect activity to engage your students. Students count within a ten frame and identify the correct number. This “Task Box Filler” set is a wonderful addition to your classroom math center, a student’s independent work basket, one-on-one instruction, or guided practice. This Ten Frame counting “Task Box Filler” set can also be used for distance learning as a “hands-on” activity for practice and independent work.
Oh, no! Just print the pages on white card stock paper (preferred), laminate, and trim. You will need a small amount of soft-side and hard-side Velcro dots or strips for each task card and for mounting board response card storage.
Counting with a ten frame introduces students to counting by 10’s visually. It sets the stage for one-to-one correspondence, understanding place value, addition, and comparing values. Depending upon the skill your student is working on, this TEN FRAME “Task Box Filler” can range from Kindergarten through Third Grade.

Given objects to count up to 20, STUDENT will independently/with verbal prompts, count to identify the correct number in order to demonstrate one-to-one correspondence, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
