Following 2 step directions for independent task completion, is a frequently assigned IEP goal for Special Education students in the domain of Speech, Language, and Communication skills. Using repetitive visual and written directions to color or trace/color, students begin towards completing academic tasks with a greater level of independence!
Help students retain previously taught skills as a summer review winter break refreshers, ESY supplement, homework, or extra practice.
Each review packet contains “uncluttered” (less cutesy, distraction free) PRINT and GO printables that are aligned with academic, speech-language, or social-emotional state standards. The skill sets are, in most instances, adapted to fit the learning needs of special education students. The Review Packets for IEP Goals are designed to encourage independent work practice for those who can, and additional support for those students who may need it. This IEP GOAL REVIEW packet may support learner who is currently being taught or introduced to following two-step directions towards task completion. As we know, our children all learn at their own pace and this resource is adaptable for all students working towards independent functioning goals related to remaining on task through completion for an academic lesson.
This packet provides extra practice to supplement classroom lessons, summer review to prevent academic regression, independent work to support inclusion, Speech and Language resource, or early intervention for task completion. Every page includes an area to track the child’s progress to monitor for skill mastery. The worksheets are adapted with visual support to promote independent work completion. This encourages students to focus and have confidence in working with a greater level of independence.

· Given a two-step academic direction (color/draw/mark), STUDENT will independently complete the task, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
· Given repetitive oral, written, and/or visual directions, STUDENT will independently complete a two-step task (color, trace, and/or mark), with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
