EMOTIONS Happy or Sad “Task Box Filler” for Autism and Special Education

This task card set focuses on the range of emotions that are felt if a person is happy or sad (ex. from a little sad, to full blown tantrum). This task card set is very effective for both readers AND non-readers, as the real life pictures are exceptionally clear and each task card contains and emotions scale. The first set has “buttons”, the second activity has an emotions scale. This “Task Box Filler” task card set helps children understand a range of feelings and to realize that a person can be happy without laughing or having a big smile.

This activity is the perfect independent work task center, or can be used for individual instruction to gather data for IEP goals.

Pictures and IEP Goal are included with this activity for simple set up and to align with your student’s IEP Goals. NO VELCRO NEEDED!

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

• 28 Emotions Task Cards
• Suggested IEP Goal for Special Education students
• Print this entire activity on white card stock paper and laminate.
