More details

This social narrative story is intended for young students returning to school with mandatory or modified mask requirements for in person classroom learning. This social narrative tells a story about who wears a mask, when they wear a mask, and why a mask is worn. Using real life, unintimidating pictures, students can see that a mask can be worn for dress up play or Halloween. It shows a familiar community helper, such as a doctor, wearing a mask and explains what the purpose of a mask is.

***PLEASE NOTE: This social narrative story does NOT include the name of the virus, or any mention of it. Its main purpose is to introduce the student to wearing a mask within the school setting.
