If you teach students using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, this ABA classroom skill assessment tool is made for you! This assessment was designed for use with learners with autism or other developmental disabilities and includes functional academics as well as social skills and life skills. This resource is intended to assist in planning IEP Goals for those students that are unable to follow a traditional grade level curriculum.

This 25 page guide contains skill assessments broken down into the following categories:

1. Classroom Readiness (e.g., locates cubby, follows group directions)
2. Adaptive Behavior (e.g., requests a break upon need, requests needs)
3. Imitation (e.g., one step gross motor imitation skills)
4. General Cognitive (e.g., match picture to sample)
5. Expressive (e.g., reciprocates greetings, answers verbal questions)
6. Reading (e.g., matches letters, matches word to picture)
7. Math (e.g., matches numbers, completes a pattern)
8. Social and Play (e.g., shares toy)
9. Self Help (e.g., washes face)
10. Daily Living (e.g., cleans up after eating)
11. Pre Vocational (e.g., stocks shelves)

The skills listed as examples are only a few of those included in this guide. Each category lists a variety of skills, along with space for you to record a baseline date and score, teaching initiation date, and date of mastery so that you can monitor your students' growth and rate of progress over time!

In addition to the skill assessments, there are sample data sheets included for you to utilize once you introduce these programs to your learners! Both task analysis and trial by trial data sheets are included. There is one data sheet with example data filled in to demonstrate how these sheets can be used.
