These Emoji Emotions Worksheets are a great way to teach and support emotional intelligence with your students. Exploring emotions is important for young learners and those with social and emotional learning challenges. This resource will help you to get your students thinking about a wide variety of common emotions.
You can ask you students to write about a time they felt the given emotion, what they think the definition of the emotion is, synonyms of the word, use the word in a sentence…, etc. Each child could do one or two and share, or you could print a set for each child to make a book of emotions and what makes them feel each one.
Students could also write a story about each emotion. Some children find it easier to talk about emotions if it is not personal to them. Extra writing pages are provided.
You may also want to read a story and ask the students to write about an example they saw in the story, when a character felt one of these emotions.
