Tracing letters and numbers provides fine motor skills practice for occupational therapy, classroom fine motor center practice, and one-on-one instruction or fine motor skills reinforcement.
This BIG FINE MOTOR SKILLS set includes:
· 26 BIG Uppercase Letter Tracing Cards A-Z
· 26 BIG Lowercase Letter Tracing Cards A-Z
· 10 BIG Number Tracing Cards 0-9
IS THIS TASK CARD SET EASY TO SET UP?
Yes, it sure is! Just print on white card stock paper for durability and laminate. NO velcro needed! Your student can use a thin OR wide dry erase marker, OR a dry erase crayon. Easily wipes clean with a dry erase eraser!
HOW CAN MY STUDENTS THAT HAVE FINE MOTOR CHALLENGES USE THIS?
This FINE MOTOR SKILLS TRACING set is made especially for our learners who struggle with fine motor skills and for young learners, too. Learning to grasp a writing utensil and trace a given line or shape can be very challenging for our special needs children. By providing BIG letters and numbers to trace with simple lines within a letter, helps our kids become more independent at completing a tracing task.
HOW DO I STORE THIS FINE MOTOR SKILLS ACTIVITY?
Oh, SO easy! After laminating each page (NO CUTTING NEEDED), you can store the set in a large plastic zipper bag. It is suggested that you give your students anywhere from one to ten sheets to trace at a time, dependent upon their writing needs.
DOES THIS FINE MOTOR SKILLS ACTIVITY COME WITH SUGGESTED IEP GOALS?
Yes! Here they are:
(1.) Given an _________(uppercase letter/lowercase letter/numbers 0-9) to trace, STUDENT will grasp the marker or writing utensil with appropriate pressure and trace along each line to form the letter or number, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
(2.) Given up to three _________(uppercase letter/lowercase letter/numbers 0-9) to trace, STUDENT will grasp the marker or writing utensil with appropriate pressure and (independently/with assistance/hand-over-hand prompts) trace along each line to form the letter or number, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
DO YOU HAVE A SELECTION OF FINE MOTOR ACTIVITIES THAT I CAN CHOOSE FROM?
