Food Sorting (with picture prompts) is a great activity to teach students about food groups.
This resource contains sorting boards for

The pages must be printed on photo paper and laminated. Cut the cards out. Use hook and loop dots on the back squares on the matching board and on the back side of each card. Your students can use the following photo cards to learn about food items:
