Understanding Money is a unit with a provided text and activities. This unit is designed for students with intellectual disabilities and autism but can be used in general education elementary grades or ELL.

This Unit introduces money and how it is used with a 14-page text/story with a Pre-Post Test. There are also many worksheets and activities to explain the topic of money further.

This unit provides opportunities for repetition in the classroom, which is essential for students with intellectual disabilities, as well as the use of visuals.

Activities included: Vocabulary and Definition, Matching, Finding coins, Can I Afford It, My Want My Needs, Dollar Up, File Folder Task, Word search, and more.
