More details

Sight words, also known as high-frequency words, are words that appear frequently in written texts and are essential for reading and writing. Using a high interest reading strategy, your students will memorize sight words on chocolate bar candy (not real, of course!). With two commonly used word lists which include 179 sight words, as the words increase by grade level (Kindergarten through First Grade), “bites of reading” are missing from the sight word candy bar!

*Please note for teachers/therapists: This method provides an easy sorting management system for you! You can easily differentiate the beginner Kindergarten sight words and as they progress.

Implement for students with autism, ESY supplement, fall review, beginning of the year refresher, one-on-one teaching, literacy center, tutoring, speech and language therapy, or even as a substitute bin filler!

The sight word reading cards include suggested IEP goals and are aligned with early elementary foundational reading skills.
