LIFE SKILLS Task Cards For COLOR WORDS and FINE MOTOR “Task Box Filler” for Special Education
This “Task Box Filler” focuses on life skills reading color words, fine motor skills practice, and following a written direction. As a high-interest activity, students will be focused on this independent work task, as they practice IEP goals.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
• 20 Reading Label Task Cards (Gray and Grey spellings are included)
• 19 Picture Clothing “Stick” Response Cards
• Suggested IEP Goals for Special Education students
• Print this entire activity on white card stock paper and laminate.
SUGGESTED IEP GOALS For Special Education Students:
Given a sentence containing a directive (“put in the washing machine”) and description of an object (color words), STUDENT will choose the correct response card, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
Given a sturdy paper object to insert through an opening, STUDENT will independently place the object through the slit using his/her dominant hand, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
