File Folder Activities for Autism Emotions and Feelings
This real-life photo set of two Emotions and Feelings File Folder Activities will grab your student's attention and keep them on task. Perfect for mastery of Social Emotional, Communication, and Academic IEP goals! There are 8 real-life images of young children presenting these emotions and feelings:
worried
happy
silly
sad
mad
frustrated
amazed
These two sets of differentiated learning activities give young readers the opportunity to practice short, simple sentences, "I am...". For those students who have not yet learned to read, symbols are included with the sentences to provide support. It is suggested that you print this activity on white card stock paper on the "portrait" setting on your printer. Laminate the completed file folder and answer cards for durability. Answer key is included with this activity.
SAMPLE IEP GOAL: The student will predict how others will feel by naming the emotion corresponding to pictures.
Enjoy!
