Sorting laundry is an important life skill. This activity includes different kinds of clothing that children will have to sort by color. You can choose 2, 3 or all 5 categories at once depending on your students` abilities. They can sort white and dark clothes. They can also include the lights and the reds, or use the "colors" for the rest. Your students will enjoy this fun and engaging activity.
This activity can be used in 2 ways.
1. Print the pages, laminate them. Cut the cards out and use some hook and loop dots in the middle of each blank square on the matching boards and on the back side of each card. Have your students match the clothes to the correct board.
2. Print the pages and laminate them. Cut the cards out. Use some small baskets where students could sort the cards depending on their color.
