LIFE SKILLS Task Cards LAUNDRY and DISHES Is It Clean or Dirty for Independent Work AUTISM

With real life pictures showing articles of clothing and dishes which are clean or dirty by appearance, this life skills independent work task, will keep students with autism and special learning needs, focused and on task. Your students will match, clip, mark with a dry erase marker, point to, say, or show on a voice output device, in order to determine each object that is dirty or clean.

This independent work basket set contains 40 real life pictures of clothing of dishes on task cards, along with two response options, for “clean” or “dirty”.

This set also comes with a label to velcro or tape onto the clear work bin. I use velcro so I can switch tasks frequently for my students to complete independently.

I DO USE velcro on each task card, but students can also mark with a dry erase marker (“X”), or clip with a clothespin or large paper clip!

WHAT’S INCLUDED:
• 20 Task Cards with real life pictures representing clean or dirty dishes
• 20 Task Cards with real life pictures representing clean or dirty clothing
• 40 picture/word response cards for “clean or dirty”.
• Suggested IEP Goal for Special Education students
• Print this entire activity on white card stock paper and laminate.

SUGGESTED IEP GOAL:
Given a life skills work task of up to ____ (number of) task cards to distinguish clean objects from dirty objects (clothing/dishes), and a visual/word response choice, STUDENT will look at the picture to determine if it is “dirty” or “clean” and independently _____(match the correct response card/clip with a clothespin or paper clip/mark with a dry erase marker/point to/verbally state the response/or indicate on a voice-output device), with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
