More details

A picture sequencing task box activity for sequencing events first, next, and last. This TASK BOX FILLER® supports Special Education, speech therapy, and beginning readers learning to sequence events or actions.

With three pictures of objects or events showing a sequence of actions (first, next, last), students sequence and describe each picture using adjectives, verbs, and nouns, to develop speech and language skills. This TASK BOX FILLER® includes 100 task cards for TWO LEARNING LEVELS (50 color coded/50 black and white border), using color borders for students who may need the extra visual support to gain independent work skills. For those students who are able to complete a sequencing task with less prompting, use the black border picture response cards. Please watch the preview video to see how I place the picture response cards on the back of each Sequencing Board for easy storage and effortless student removal to complete the task!

WILL THIS TAKE A LOT OF PREP TIME?

Oh, not at all! Just print the pages (2 cards to a page), laminate, trim, add Velcro, and your students are ready to begin! This sequencing pictures first/next/last activity provides standards aligned skills review throughout the school year.

TO STORE THE 3 RESPONSE CARDS, flip the mounting board over and place a strip of soft-side velcro. Add hard-side velcro dots, circles, or small strips to the back of each response card and place in random order for student to remove and sort by sequence!
