Intoduce numbers 0-6 with balls from different sports. Have the student match the number to the flashcard with the correct amount of balls. Then after that is mastered introduce the sports theme dominos. The same ball groupings will be repeated in all domino sets. 8 dominos per page. Each sports ball domino page has a duplicate page with numeric number dominos. The student can match these non identical sets to learn the relationship of the sports ball clusters to its correct numeric number. Then as a last step use the dominos to introduce simple single digit addition.
Given counting manipulatives (objects) and number cards, up to 20, STUDENT will touch and count each object and stop when the number shown has been reached in order to demonstrate one-to-one correspondence, in 4 out of 5 consecutive opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
