• 20 “SENTENCE WINDOWS” containing a sentence starter and a fill-in-the-blank last word to complete each sentence.
• 84 High Frequency Dolch Noun Picture/Word Cards for students to color and keep! The student will place a Picture/Word card and view it through the “window”. Then, the writing begins! Using the Picture/Word card aids the student with spelling when it may be a challenge.
• Use objects found in the classroom, take a nature walk, or send as homework! Students will LOVE writing about what they see!

Given a Dolch Pre-Primer sight word starter sentence with a fill-in-the-blank last word in order to complete the sentence, STUDENT will use a picture/word card to aid in spelling, by writing up to five complete sentences, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
Given a Dolch Pre-Primer sight word starter sentence with a fill-in-the blank last word in order to complete the sentence, STUDENT will choose/be given an object to view and then use pre-taught spelling strategies (sounding out/blending sounds), in order to write up to five complete sentences, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
