SIGHT WORDS Task Cards KEY DETAILS WITHIN TEXT for Autism and Special Education SET 1

This “Task Box Filler” set uses the first set of 40 sight words contained in the Dolch word list (Pre-Primer). This is perfect for BOTH readers AND non-readers alike, as each task card contains a highlighted word for students to locate within up to three lines of easy reader text. Non-readers will be focused on finding the letter sequence, or matching word to word. Readers will be see familiar text, as the passages contain sight words from this list, as well as nouns.

Simple set up, just print, laminate task cards and provide a thin, dry erase marker for your students to highlight each sight word.

Given a sight word (high frequency word) to locate within two to three lines of text as part of an independent work task, STUDENT will highlight or mark the word with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
