Introducing "Task BOX Filler" 44 card set SOCIAL SKILLS Task Cards SOUNDS and HOW THEY MAKE ME FEEL for children with autism and special needs.
This “Task Box Filler” set focuses on sounds that may calm a child with autism, or even cause anxiety. There are no “wrong” or “right” answers, since sounds impact our ASD and special needs students in different ways. There’s a total of 44 real-life pictures which suggest a specific sound made by a person, event, or object. There is one political card included that you may choose to exclude, depending upon the age of the student completing the task. This “Task Box Filler” can be completed independently, during a language activity, practice while working at a Language Center, or direct one-on-one instruction.
Simple set up, just print, laminate task cards and provide a thin, dry erase marker for your students to mark one response per task card (HAPPY/CALM/ANXIOUS).
