Social Story for MENSTRUATION - part of the WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY BODY Series of Social Narratives.

As our female student's bodies begin to change and mature, it can be a little frightening for them. This 10 page social narrative uses real-life pictures to show how their bodies may feel as their period approaches, what they will need to do once they get it, and to understand that it is a natural, normal process that all girls go through.
This social story provides the perfect opportunity for the student to ask questions at home and school. Distribute a copy to the student when needed. Just print and staple.

IEP GOAL ALIGNMENT:
By MONTH, YEAR, given a social narrative related to hygiene, personal grooming, or natural body processes, STUDENT will provide appropriate responses to up to ten questions asked by an adult to document understanding, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities.

Thank you for your continued support and loyalty. As always, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to autism awareness and research.
