This super successful reading and writing activity is helping our kiddos become better readers and writers, instantly! With “real-life” images of Santa Claus, places he will go to/went to/is at, and when he will get there, will not only keep your students focused and on task, but they will ask to read and write over and over again! Keeping up with the excitement of the holiday season and still making sure our students are engaged while learning, can be a challenge. Not anymore! Watch and listen as your students learn to LOVE to read! This activity is perfect for new readers, beginning readers and promoting language skills!
With real-life photos placed on large connecting reading cards, sentences come to life! It's EASY to assemble and use in your classroom today. Just print, laminate for durability, add some small strips of velcro, and your students are on their way to becoming better readers with heaps of pride and confidence! A reproducible worksheet is also included for writing/drawing practice to develop ideas for "wh" questions.
