This NO PRINT digital interactive activity focuses on subtracting single-digit numbers from up to 10 (minuend). Using a count and touch strategy, your students will count “backwards” or “count down” with baseballs! This activity is for children learning this skill! The pictures on each page include a diverse population to make all students feel like, “Hey, I can do this, too!”

· YES! As well as using as an independent work task, this activity can be expanded upon to reinforce subtraction skills. It is suggested that the student completes the activity on a computer or tablet where he or she can engage with the teacher.
Absolutely! Here are suggested IEP Goals that may be aligned with this activity:
1. Given a single-digit subtraction problem using a pre-taught counting strategy and a choice of three possible number responses, STUDENT will subtract (count backwards/count down) in order to solve, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
