Predicting Problems Is Important! Life is full of situations when we could avoid common problems! These illustrated materials are designed to help your clients understand why thinking about what might happen can allow for better life skill choices!

Every day our lives present us with situations in which we have to make a decision. What we decide to do may determine if we get hurt, make a friend, get sick, get in trouble, or any number of possible outcomes which can be either good or bad. Reflecting on these possible scenarios allows the client to have practice at making the best decision by thinking about what may happen depending on what actions we take. The focus is not as much about right and wrong decisions as it is about learning from decisions and the outcomes they may produce.

Examples: Everything is designed to focus on the theme of "What could go wrong with…" the illustrated themes focus on SAFETY: "...pushing your friend for fun." HYGIENE: “wearing the same socks all week.", and general LIFE SKILLS "...telling lies about your friends" 84 different illustrated topic pictures plus helper pages to lead discussion AND ADDITIONAL WH-Type QUESTIONS to add more prompting and reflection!
