Use this large sorting board as one page or cut into 3 smaller strips. Use the cut and paste picture squares to fill in. You can also laminate the large sorting boards and picture squares. Apply Velcro fuzzy dots to each square on the sorting board. Apply loop velcro dots to all picture squares. Have the student repetitively sort the community helpers accordingly. Filled in sorting board can be used in the teaching phase and empty board for an assessment task. Community Helpers included:Doctor, Fireman, Policeman, Chef, Cashier, and Dentist. Four 2x2 pictures are provided for each community helper.
